After we drilled our well on May 3rd at Sacrifice, we also right away started with the fence around our property. Unfortunately it is really necessary in Haiti to fence off your property for security reasons.

TUESDAY MAY 3RD
After a lot of preparation and planning we finally really started the work on our new land today.When I woke up at 6 AM this morning I could hardly believe it is finally all really happening. It was a very special feeling of joy, relieve and of-course anticipation as well, since the next 6 to 8 months will be very intense for me.
Sylvaince’s grandmother came to us and asked if we could care for Sylvaince as she was to old to properly care for him. About a month later His older brother Yakime joined him. At the time of the boys arrival their grandmother told us that the boys mother had passed away and that their father had never been around. Later we found out that their mother was still alive and living outside the country. Read more about Yakime →
